Dance is an art and yet it is as athletic as the most difficult sport. Many major league coaches require dance to develop coordination. We at Academie de Ballet and Dance Centre are dedicated to giving the most professional instruction to not only develop the student physically, but also to develop mental discipline and an appreciation and respect for others.

Many of our students have auditioned and been accepted by major ballet companies exclusive workshop such as: American Ballet Theater, Kirov, Pittsburgh Ballet, Joffrey Ballet, Boston Ballet and Alvin Ailey. Others have received scholarships to universites and still others have used their gift of dance to bless many in countries around the world while on a mission, which is a great calling.

We want to be a blessing to our students as we help build their character with Godly principals. Our purpose is to "raise the barre" of excellence in training dancers ages three through adult while they fulfill their potential of using their God-given talents to maintain a good witness in performance and their daily lives.

We encourage parents to stay and observe their children's classes. All four of our large studios have gallery areas with large viewing windows. We have found that this added support and encouragement from mom and dad spurs the student on to give that little extra that makes a difference between adequate and excellence. The fellowship that develops between parents often creates bonds of mutual support and friendship that lasts for years.

In addition, we train our teachers in Academie de Ballet's own unique approach to developing young dancers. While we focus on the Russian method of ballet and hire only the best trained instructors, we realize that spiritual values and appreciation for character development are just as important as technical proficiency.
