Arnora Hummel founded Academie de Ballet in 1989. It has grown from one small studio with 32 students to a 12,000 square ft building with 700 students.

Our school has four spacious studios and 18 ft. ceilings. We have installed spring floors to protect every dancer from injury. Parents have the opportunity to watch their children during any class while sitting in our viewing gallery. This encourages the student and allows the parents to know exactly what is being taught in the class.

We also use the studios for other events during the year. Balls are held twice a year, and a yearly lock-in is always great fun. During the Christmas and Chanukah season we feature a gift shop with the proceeds being used to support our Masterworks dance companies.

The facility features offices, teachers lounges, ladies and mens dressing rooms, a scenic shop, and a wardrobe shop. The kitchen/eating area allows for much fellowship among students and staff.
