We offer several summer intensives at Academie de Ballet. Dancing during the summer helps to keep current skills, gain stronger skills, maintain flexibility, and experience new styles. Our Senior intensive is held each July for three weeks. Our Junior Intensive follows with a two week schedule.Enrollment is still open for the Junior Intensive.

The Petite Princess camp will be held August 9th through August 13th, 2010, and still has openings!

Senior Curriculum includes: classical ballet, pointe, lyrical, jazz, jazz turns and progressions, hip hop, tap, adagio, character, terminology, and conditioning. Prestigious ballerina Elena Bendel Petrovna of the Stanislavsky Opera and Ballet Theatre joins us each year from Moscow to teach the Senior classical and pointe workshop classes. She is not only a gifted dancer, but also a teacher who inspires students to do skills they thought were impossible for them to achieve! We also welcomed Ryan Warren from Texas to teach Hip Hop, Sandra Ballestratchi from Williamsburg to teach Ballet, and and Anthony Gutierrez from Arizona to teach Break dance. Arnora Hummel, Andrei Yemelianov, and Melissa Moore instructed all other classes in the  Senior intensive. 

Junior Intensive curriculum includes: classical ballet, lyrical, jazz, hip hop, tap, conditioning, terminology, and acrobatics. The junior intensive is taught by Arnora Hummel, Melissa Moore, Jessica Hartsfield, and Vicka Mills.

Our Petite Princess camp is for experienced dancers ages 5 through 7. Curriculum includes: classical ballet, jazz, tap, and acrobatics. This camp is one week long and taught by Melissa Moore.

Drop off is  9:15am. Devotions begin daily at 9:30am. All classes begin at 10:00 am. Ending time varies depending on camp. The students will also go roller skating or to Ocean Breeze Water Park! (special events held after camp hours)
